Winterson Prize for Innovative Use of Pearls

Annouska Graduate Award for Outstanding Design

During COVID-19 our jewellery workshops were closed. I wanted to virtually explore the potential value of human error and destruction. Using Cinema 4d and Houdini, I animated jewellery becoming damaged in unpredictable ways. This became the driving force for my collection of 15 pieces, where I would carefully choose frames from the animation to be 3D printed. The animations work alongside the pieces as a story telling agent.
